Australia's Mark Webber led from start to finish in last year's race to become the sixth different winner of an eventful start to the 2012 campaign. Webber put in an assured display in his Red Bull, taking the famed Casino, Rascasse and Mirabeau sections in his stride en route to also posting the fastest lap. Nico Rosberg crossed the line in second, with Fernando Alonso completing the podium in third.
