Janice Forsyth takes a look at the best family friendly shows at the Fringe this year including The Amazing Bubbleman and BabyO (opera for babies).

The Edinburgh Festival Fringe kicks off this week so today in the Culture Studio, we take a look ahead to the best festival shows for kids. Janice meets The Amazing Bubbleman and some of the masterminds behind BabyO, a brand new show at the Fringe providing opera for babies and children. Plus, children's reviewer from The List, Kelly Apter, joins us with her top five family friendly shows this year.

The Leonardo Da Vinci exhibition opens on Friday at Holyrood House in Edinburgh so exhibition curator Martin Clayton drops by to tell us more and Professor Peter Abrahams explains just how accurate Da Vinci was an anatomist.

Plus we meet a few members of a young, fresh, audience-centric theatre company called Invertigo who bring a production to the Fringe this year which has only been performed once before in the UK - Outside on The Street.

And most of us like a drink now again (especially during the festival!) but what happens when our habit turns into dependency? High Sobreity is a memoir written by Scottish born journalist Jill Stark who was specialising in writing about public health issues for a national Australian paper, whilst at the same time attempting to tackle her own binge drinking issues.

Apart from all of that, we have lots of great music including brand new tracks from Franz Ferdinand and The Stereophonics - don't miss it - tune in at 2pm.
