Janice Forsyth chats to comic book legend Mark Millar; with film reviews of Alpha Papa, Red 2, Only God Forgives and the re-release of Heaven's Gate.

We have an action packed movie hour today with Paul Gallagher and Nicola Balkind reviewing the new Alan Partridge movie Alph Papa; action sequel Red 2, crime thriller Only God Forgives (with Janice chatting to director Nicolas Winding Refn) and the rerelease of one of Hollywood's biggest box office disasters Heaven's Gate.

We were also lucky enough to catch up with Kick Ass creator and comic legend Mark Millar, ahead of the release of Kick Ass 2.

Janice speaks to writer David Greig and director Ramin Gray about one of the most anticipated plays in Edinburgh this year, The Events, about dealing with the aftermath of an atrocity.

With the Edinburgh Book Festival just around the corner, we speak to historical fiction writer Tracy Chevalier about her new novel The Last Runaway and with her Book Festival event selling out quickly, we ask her about her expectations and experiences of the festival in Edinburgh.

Finally, we speak to Brigadier David Allfrey, the man behind this year's Edinburgh Military Tattoo. Every year approximately 70% of the Tattoo's audience come from places outside Scotland so we ask David, why is the Tattoo relevant in Scotland?

Of course, we will also have some cracking music throughout the show so make sure you tune in from 2 - 4pm today!
