London's Hyde Park - once the hunting ground of King Henry VIII and tonight host once again to the 40,000 crowd who gather to celebrate 麻豆官网首页入口 Proms in the Park and the finale to the Last Night of the Proms. Time to re-kindle the feelgood factor and wave your flag to Elgar's Land of Hope and Glory, Rule Britannia and Parry's Jerusalem.

As ever the 麻豆官网首页入口 Concert Orchestra are on the Hyde Park stage to accompany special guests - operatic tenor Joseph Calleja; Strictly Come Dancing favourites Erin Boag and Anton du Beke; housewife gigastar Dame Edna Everage and pop legend Bryan Ferry. Also making a guest appearance violinist Nigel Kennedy hot foots it from his appearance at the Last Night of the Proms in the Royal Albert Hall to play for the park prommers.

Bryan Ferry sings a greatest hits set with the 80 piece 麻豆官网首页入口 Concert Orchestra including - Reason or Rhyme; Let's Stick Together; Love is the Drug; Jealous Guy and A Hard Rain's Gonna Fall.

The hall may have the first woman to conduct the Last Night of the Proms in the shape of Marin Alsop but the park has the first housewife gigastar to lead the finale singalong. Yes, Edna May Everage - once just an average Australian housewife from Moonee Ponds - now a Dame of the British Empire and friend and confidente to aristocracy, prime ministers and presidents. With a flag in one hand and a bunch of gladdies in the other - Dame Edna leads the Royal Choral Society and the park revellers in the grand finale to the famous Last Night.
