Episode 3
Dudley Newbury sets out to change how his home town approaches food. Here, he encourages the locals to get involved in his carnival feast, but preparations do not go as planned.
Wales's top chef, Dudley Newbury, is on a mission to change the way his Valleys home town of Ynysybwl thinks about food: how to grow it, how to cook it, how to eat it. His goal is simple - to get the community to join together to rediscover the ability to grow, shop and prepare healthy meals from scratch, using locally produced ingredients. It's not just about taking inches off their waistlines. It's about adding years to their lives.
In this final episode, it's down to Dudley to get the whole town involved in his big carnival feast. But, with the plants in the community garden struggling to grow and the marquees and seating still to arrange, he finds himself battling against time to produce a meal fit to change people's bad eating habits for good.
