The council's fraud investigators in Sandwell look into a woman who for years claimed benefits because she was a jobless single mother. As the team dig a little deeper they discover that she may be a lot better off than she has been letting on - 拢270,000 better off, in fact!

Matt meets 22-year-old Shane, a young man whose life had gone off the rails and who was facing being made homeless. He needed help and support, but would a local charity be able to get Shane back on his feet and give him some hope for a future?
