We've live music from energy-fuelled folk orchestra from Chile - Ensamble Transatlantico de Folk Chileno.
They're in town to take part in a musical and visual arts extravaganza at the Queens Hall called Journey of a Thousand Wings, also featuring Edinburgh's ground-breaking 50-piece experimental youth orchestra, Tinderbox Orchestra.

Fan of Maigret creator George Simenon, novelist John Banville discusses the republication of Simenon's famous French detective novels with his son John Simenon. All 75 crime stories will be re-released in English by Penguin at the rate of one a month for the next six and a half years!

Still Game's Ford Kiernan and film producer Kieran Parker will be here to be tell us about the Cromarty Film Festival which kicks off on Friday in Ross & Cromarty.

And the magical world of Roald Dahl is being brought to life by the Dundee Rep with puppets - no mean feat when it's the BFG. Puppet designer (and director) Ross MacKay and show's director Joe Douglas will be here to tell us how they've done it.
