Victoria Baths 10 years on

Manchester's Victoria Baths was awarded 拢3.4m for winning the first series of the 麻豆官网首页入口 show Restoration 10 years ago.

Ten years on听there has been considerable work done on the Edwardian building and it is now used for events and weddings.

But, the dream of restoring it back to its original use is yet to be realised fully.

The church where worshippers pray in an indoor tent

St James is the oldest standing church in Liverpool but it was forced to close in 1972 due to dwindling numbers.

Over the last 40 years it has become derelict but now there are ambitious 拢2 million plans to restore it to its former glory.


Two years ago it reopened as St James in the City and in the meantime its congregation meets in a large tent in the church, until the money can be raised.
