Barrister Gary Bell QC goes to Leicestershire to meet Mandy Everley, who lent her horse, Libby, out on loan. But Libby ended up in an abattoir and now she and her daughter want compensation. More importantly, they want to know why this happened.
Gary also visits Fishguard to meet Jim Scott who bought a house to refurbish for his wife and children. Centrepiece was to be a Welsh slate kitchen - but the slate was late arriving and not cut to the dimensions he had ordered.
