Episode 24
In the final, the chefs have three hours to create an exceptional three-course meal for judges Michel Roux Jr, Monica Galetti and Gregg Wallace before the champion is crowned.
It is the final of MasterChef: The Professionals. For legendary double Michelin starred Michel Roux Jr, chef Monica Galetti and veteran diner Gregg Wallace, the search for an exceptional culinary talent is almost over.
The final three face one last challenge - to cook the best three courses of their lives for the MasterChef judges. After the blood, sweat and tears of the gruelling competition, there is just one meal between them and the highest culinary accolade of their career.
In three hours they must bring together a starter, a main and a dessert that show off the culinary ability that has got them to this stage, and raise it to another level. They must simply cook their socks off if they want to win the title - the execution must be perfect, the flavours mind-blowing and the presentation jaw-dropping. There is no room for error. When the stakes are this high the tiniest mistake could cost them the title, but deliver and their lives could be changed forever.
Only one will be crowned Professional MasterChef Champion 2013, following in the footsteps of Derek Johnstone, Steve Groves, Claire Lara and Ash Mair, Keri Moss and Anton Petrowski.
