Andrew Muir has written his first play for radio as part of our series of short plays on the theme of ‘Love and Hate.’, produced with the Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú Writers Room. ‘A Perfect Non Starter’ is a love story set in a fairground - two people from different worlds share a nightime ride that will stay with them forever. Andrew explains what attracted him to the image of a ferris wheel.

Steven Camden has previously appeared on The Verb as the performance poet Polar Bear. Performing was something that Steven fell into, but he always intended to write a novel. He makes his debut with Tape, a story of two young people separated by 20 years, and connected by recordings on a cassette tape. Steven tells Ian how he wanted to tell a story which illustrates how small things we do can have big consequences.
