Episode 4 of 8

Frank Skinner hosts as three celebrities battle to banish their top peeve or worst nightmare to the depths of Room 101. With guests Miles Jupp, Vernon Kay and Kelly Hoppen MBE.

30 minutes

Miles Jupp

is an English comedian and actor. He has written and stars in Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú Radio 4's . In this week's episode he tried to get the following into Room 101:
  • Parents who allow their children to climb up slides – that is not how things are supposed to happen.
  •  Automated doors/ sliding doors are an abomination – you’re surrounded by them and there is no industry standard so they aren’t all operated the same - some have a button next to them; some have a concealed button or a touch sensitive one. He feels that there is nothing wrong with normal doors.
  • Loud noises – the vast majority of noises are either far too quiet of far too noisy.

Vernon Kay

is an English television presenter, radio DJ and former model. Here is what he attempted to relegate into Room 101:
  • People who drop litter – he doesn’t understand why people feel the need to drop litter and not take it home and find a bin.
  • The decline of kid’s games – Kids are now sitting all day and turning into finger sweepers on iPads and phones instead of getting out on the street.
  • Three quarter lengths short – He doesn’t see any point in having them. You go on holiday and you wear a short that only tans your lower calfs.

Kelly Hoppen

is a British interior designer and author. In this episode of Room 101 she wanted to submit the following:
  • People with weak handshakes – if somebody is coming to shake your hand, there is nothing worse than when they come towards you and it’s just weak and slightly moist.
  • Loo roll covers – she hates them: it’s like creating a shrine to a loo roll!
  • Tradesmen – Sky, BT, a plumber or an electrician will give you a date between 9:00 and 18:00, they turn up at 17:50 and then they don’t have the right part to fix what it is that is wrong.

Kelly has been a "Dragon" on the show .
