The team figure skating reaches its conclusion, and it is also the final two runs in the men's luge. Germany's Felix Loch is the reigning Olympic champion, but the two men who were on the podium with him four years ago are again likely to be threats to his title: his teammate David Moeller, and the remarkable Italian Armin Zoeggeler, who is hoping to win a medal in luge for the sixth consecutive Olympics.
There is also live ski jumping with the final of the men's normal hill event. Switzerland's Simon Ammann will be hoping to add to his collection of four Olympic gold medals. However, he is likely to face stiff competition from in-form Austrian Gregor Schlierenzauer, the current World Cup champion who won bronze in 2010.
