The former president Viktor Yanukovytch gives his first statement since fleeing the country, and claims he was ousted by a "bandit coup". In the weekly feature looking at news from abroad, we hear from anti-government protesters in Venezuela, where 50 demonstrators have died in the last week. And as the Home Office minister responsible for drugs policy suggests licensing some legal highs for sale on the high street, we discuss the possible consequences.
