• Interview with Ofcom

  Ofcom is the body which oversees communications in the UK, including broadcast television. Since the 2003 Communications Act, they鈥檝e required broadcasters to make a certain amount of their content accessible through subtitling, signing and audio description. They were also instrumental in the creation of the British Sign Language Broadcasting Trust (BSLBT) and currently have a new consultation relating to how the BSLBT is funded. This consultation closes at 5pm on the 22nd of September 2014.
