Euan takes a trip on the John Muir Way 鈥 a new walking and cycle route from Dunbar to Helensburgh - that follows the journey taken by the Scots born pioneer of the global National park movement. John Muir travelled from Dunbar to Helensburgh before boarding a ship to the United States where he eventually established the world鈥檚 first National Parks.

Dougie investigates the increase in the numbers of birds of prey being poisoned across Scotland and speaks to the Detective leading the hunt for the person behind the recent poisoning of 19 Red Kites and Buzzards on the Black Isle.

Sarah tells the story of the 18th century Oyster industry in the Forth estuary. In the 18th century more than a hundred boats dredged the fifty square miles of Oyster beds. The shellfish was so abundant at one time that they were the food of the masses in Edinburgh. Over-fishing eventually decimated the Oyster beds but some people hope an oyster fishery can eventually be re-established in the Forth.

Dougie is on Loch Ness for a unique long distance race that pits Men (and women) against horses. The twenty-six kilometre race on the Southern shore of the Loch has been won in recent years by a horse but two legged runners are catching up each year.
