Dylan Thomas Day: Hannah Ellis, Jeff Towns, Sian James, Fflur Dafydd

Suzy Klein with a special Dylan Thomas edition from Laugharne, talking to writers and Thomas experts, with live music from harpist/singer Sian James and Penarth Festival Strings.

Suzy Klein presents a special Dylan Thomas edition, from the Laugharne Live Festival in Wales.

Laugharne is the picturesque town that inspired the setting of Under Milk Wood, and we're broadcasting live from the grounds of Laugharne Castle.
Suzy's guests will include Dylan Thomas's granddaughter, Hannah Ellis; Jeff Towns (one of the world's leading Dylan Thomas experts); Marc Rees and Jon Tregenna, authors of Raw Materials, a re-imagining of the world of Under Milk Wood, which is being performed through the streets of Laugharne by National Theatre, Wales; and young Welsh novellist Fflur Dafydd.
Plus we'll have readings of some of Dylan Thomas's great poems read by the author, and live music from traditional Welsh harpist & singer Sian James, and from the Penarth Festival Strings.
