Chefs Simon Rogan and Aiden Byrne both attempt to open restaurants in Manchester. Can Simon achieve his Michelin star and has the city finally got a taste for fine dining?
Final part in the series following two of Britain's top chefs, Simon Rogan and Aiden Byrne, as they battle to launch new restaurants in Manchester and chase the city's first Michelin star in over 30 years.
As both restaurants hurtle towards the end of the year, they are under increasing pressure to deliver a profit on their backer's investment, no easy feat in a city that has seen off chefs like Raymond Blanc and Marco Pierre White. Can Simon Rogan and Aiden Byrne succeed where others have succumbed?
Further pressure is piled on both restaurants as a big name food critic heads to Manchester House. As the year draws to a close, it's time to take stock and find out if Manchester really is big enough for two top chefs and if the city has finally got a taste for fine dining.
