Episode 2 of 2

Following Team England's progress throughout the Street Child World Cup tournament, seeing how hard it is for those with turbulent pasts to deal with the pressure of competition.

In the second of the two-part series, we join Team England as they are halfway through their time in Brazil at the Street Child World Cup.

Like all the players in the tournament, Team England have had to deal with more in life than the average teenager. All of the girls have been separated from their parents and now live in foster care, hostels or children's homes. We follow their progress throughout the tournament, seeing how hard it is for those with turbulent pasts to deal with the pressure of competition. And more importantly, we see the impact of the tournament on the girls overall, how meeting street kids with parallel lives from all around the world makes them think about their own challenging backgrounds and try to overcome them.

From meeting teenagers in the favela slums to playing football against homeless Kenyan teens, we see how the whole experience inspires the girls to change their lives back in the UK.
