Rostrevor is our first stop this week, in the foothills of the Mournes, County Down. Where the hills will be alive with the sound of music for the 27th annual Fiddler鈥檚 Green Festival. We鈥檙e speaking to one of the organisers, Kate Murphy as well as local woman Marie Mc Stay.

The Fiddler鈥檚 Green Festival starts tomorrow, the 20th of July, for a week. It has a great line up and a variety of musicians and events.

And on down the road a bit, we come across surgeons and barbers and fighting and wounds. It鈥檚 Narrow Water Castle with the Ladies and Gentlemen of the Court in a special Tudor themed event tomorrow afternoon. We speak to an archaeologist with the NIEA, Edith Louge, who knows the Castle Keep very well.听

The Tudors are in Narrow Water Castle tomorrow afternoon (July 20th) between 1pm and 5pm - the event is FREE - and the castle is open every day between 10am and 5pm in July and August.

There is a man in Castlerock who walks everywhere, and that鈥檚 because he thinks that that鈥檚 the best way to get to know a place. And he has certainly proved his point, he knows his adopted place very well, from the C.S. Lewis connection to the Neolithic history and even the bio-diversity! We鈥檙e looking ahead to something very special in the Moy, County Armagh, at the Argory, where members of 4 pipe bands will play together, centre stage on this 320 acre estate. We chat to event organiser, Ian Matchett, who will be in the thick of it听

Our last stop this week is Fermanagh and Lough Erne where they鈥檙e 鈥渟tringing the boat鈥� and hopefully aren鈥檛 getting too many splinters,as the Lough Erne Currach boat comes together. We speak to Olivia Cosgrove who has been involved with the project from the start.
