Music programme featuring performances from contemporary and classic artists. Joining Jools are U2, Sam Smith, Interpol, Zola Jesus, Dave and Phil Alvin, and Slaves.

Joining Jools on the show and making their debut on the programme are Dublin's U2 who will be performing songs from their new album Songs Of Innocence.

From London, and making his solo debut on the show, Sam Smith has had one of the best-selling albums of the year with his debut In The Lonely Hour.

From New York City, Interpol last performed on the show in 2004 and return to play songs from their recent fifth studio album El Pintor.

From Arizona comes Nika Roza Danilova aka Zola Jesus who makes her UK TV debut on the show performing tracks from her latest LP Taiga.

Brothers Dave Alvin and Phil Alvin from California's seminal band The Blasters get together for the first time in almost 30 years to play tribute acoustically to blues legend Big Bill Broonzy with songs from their album Common Ground.

Also on the show are upcoming Tunbridge Wells garage punk two-piece, Slaves.
