Grime, perhaps more so than any other, is a genre historically associated with one specific location - East London. Its origins in the early 00s were a special time and produced many of the stars that still dominate the industry today, Wiley, Dizzee, Skepta, etc.

Fast forward ten plus years plus and something strangely familiar is happening in Birmingham, as the city's grime scene is finally emerging from London's shadow. In Team 0121 DJ Cameo heads to the Midlands to meet the people who made it possible.

Over 48 hours in the city he catches up with as many of the key players as he can: from the leading crews and the key producers, to the pioneering DJs and new media channels getting the message out to the masses.
