Tha Breab na Br貌ige a' coinneachadh ri dannsairean 脠irinneach, agus a' leantainn nan sgeulachdan diofraichte aca. 'S iad an leithid a tha a' f脿gail dannsa 脠irinneach be貌thail, gluasadach, agus a' c貌rdadh ri uiread de dhaoine.
Sreath de shia phr貌graman a tha a' coimhead air saoghal gleansach dannsa 脠irinneach, saoghal a tha ag atharrachadh fad na h-霉ine. Leis 's mar a shoirbhich le Riverdance - a th脿inig fa chomhair an t-saoghail o chionn fichead bliadhna - tha an-diugh barrachd dhannsairean 脠irinneach ann an d霉thchannan eile dhen t-saoghal na tha ann an 脠irinn fh猫in.
Ach, tha a' bhuaidh a tha air nochdadh bho dh霉thchannan eile air riaghailtean agus modhan traidiseanta an dannsa air atharrachadh. Tha na h-atharrachaidhean air t貌iseachad -, 's e gn矛omhachas m貌r a th' anns an dannsa seo - agus chan eil e comasach casg a chur orra a-nise.
A new documentary series that gets inside the world of Irish dancing. With the global success of Riverdance - 20 years old this year - it's an art form that has been thrust onto the world stage. The result is that there are far more Irish dancers outside of Ireland than there are on the Emerald Isle.
International influences have changed the tradition and the rule book - the genie is out of the bottle and everyone is getting in on the action. Jigs and Wigs features some of the more unusual individuals and stories which make Irish Dancing a vibrant and progressive entertainment phenomena.
