James Runcie

James Runcie

James Runcie is a theatre director, documentary-maker and author.  He is best known for ‘The Grantchester Mysteries’.  The lead character, Sidney Chambers (a clerical detective) is based on James’ father, the late Robert Runcie who was the Archbishop of Canterbury.  The books have been made into a TV series which aired last year and James will be presenting a Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú Radio 4 Lent Talk on 25th February.
