Can Porn Empower Women? Phone-In.

Sam Taylor Wood said that she wanted her Fifty Shades of Grey film to show the empowerment of lead character Anastasia. At a time when eroticism has become mainstream, pornography is no longer hidden away in sex shops. According to one survey by The Observer, almost half of all Britons have watched porn on the internet at least once. So what impact does porn have? Can it liberate and help women engage with their sexuality or can easily available explicit material damage relationships, creating unrealistic expectations. Has watching porn improved your relationships – or has finding a partner watching porn filled you with despair? How does porn affect the way women view themselves or how they are seen by others?

We want to hear about your opinions and experiences. Lines are open from 8am.
