Ride in Session live from Maida Vale

Reformed shoegaze band Ride perform a special extended session for Steve Lamacq, their first for radio since getting back together.

Steve Lamacq hosts the first UK radio session of newly reformed 'shoegazing' legends Ride at the Maida Vale studios. They will perform songs from their back catalogue for an hour, and chat in depth about their career. Steve has had a long history with the band, plotting their career from the 80's, through the Creation Records years, right up to their recent reformation. Steve will talk to Andy Bell, Mark Gardener, Laurence "Loz" Colbert, and Steve Queralt from the band about the Peel Sessions, their rise to fame, the split and their recent tour of America. This will be the first time you can hear the band perform live on UK radio since 1994, ahead of their nationwide tour. A small audience will be present to see the one hour special, but it will be live on 麻豆官网首页入口 Radio 6 Music.
