Mary Anne meets fearless electronic musician Holly Herndon, who talks about the use of computers in music.

Holly has become a leading light in contemporary alternative and electronic music. She experiments in the outer reaches of dance music and pop. Her new album 'Platform' was released on 4AD on May 18th.

Born in Tennessee, Holly spent years within Berlin's minimal techno scene before moving to San Francisco, where she studies as a doctoral candidate at Stanford's Center for Computer Research in Music and Acoustics.

Throoughout the show, expect to hear some of best music ever made by computers.
