Gaisgich sa Bhealaich/Highway Heroes

Documentary following tow truck drivers in California. When the worst snowstorm of the season pounds Donner Summit, the tow teams become heroes.

Gach geamhradh, air Prìomh-rathad a h-Ochdad ann an California, faisg air Bealach Donner agus baile Truckee, tha trì sgiobaidhean de thobhadairean a' cur am beatha ann an cunnart gus draibhearan ann an èiginn a shàbhaladh agus a thobhadh. Seo fear dhe na rathaidean as cunnartaiche ann an Aimearaga, agus tha am program seo a' leantainn dhraibhearan a dh'fhaodas
faighinn suas ri còig-deug calla san latha. Bidh aca ri a dhol a-mach ann an cabhadh agus ann an stoirmean reòithte, agus còmhla ri sneachd is cabhadh, tha leathadan cas, carbadan ann an craobhan.

Nuair a tha an stoirm as miosa dhen gheamhradh a' bualadh Mullach Donner, sin nuair a tha na tobhadairean nan gaisgich. Tha Sam Jackson a' dèanamh a dhìcheil gus tobhadh a chumail bho uisgeachan reòithte. Tha Eddie steicte ann an stopadh traifig, agus fhad 's a tha e ann, tha a bhean a' cur calla thige a dh'innse dha gu bheil an naoidhean air a shlighe.

Every treacherous winter on California's US Interstate 80, near Donner Pass, three teams of hardcore tow truck drivers risk their lives rescuing stranded and wrecked motorists littered across one of the most dangerous roads in America. It is all about high risk and high reward, with each driver responding to as many as fifteen calls a day, sending them out in blinding blizzards and ice
storms in the dead of night.

When the worst snowstorm of the season pounds Donner Summit, the tow dogs become heroes. Sam Jackson struggles to keep a tow from a watery grave. Eddie Farrow gets stuck in a massive traffic nightmare, and receives a desperate call from his pregnant wife. She's in the same traffic jam, and may be going into labour.
