Tim Rhys-Evans presents highlights from round three of the 2015 麻豆官网首页入口 Cardiff Singer of the World. Plus an interview with conductor Thomas Sondergard.
It's the third round in the search for the world's best young opera singer. Tim Rhys-Evans is at St David's Hall to bring us highlights of each performance. Tonight two countries are represented in this competition for the very first time - Mongolia and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
They are joined by singers from Turkey, France and the USA as they compete for a place in the final. Elin Manahan Thomas and mezzo-soprano Leah Marian Jones are on hand to give their views on the performances.
It's also a first for conductor Thomas S酶nderg氓rd. Josie d'Arby meets up with him to see how he's enjoying the experience of being part of this competition for the first time.
