Amid concerns cross-breeding is wiping out Welsh mountain ponies hundreds of semi-feral horses and ponies are being given a contraceptive vaccine. It's a new initiative and the aim ofis to reduce the number of foals being born on common land. One horse charity is concerned that too much cross-breeding is wiping out native Welsh Mountain Ponies.
