Zinnie and Lenny's lives hang in the balance following the explosion on Montego Street. A terrified Angus is searching for answers as he waits for news about Zinnie's condition, while Bob struggles under the weight of the secret of Zinnie's infidelity. Meanwhile, the community rallies to support each other while they wait for news from the hospital. They'll be mourning someone by the end of the day, but who will it be? Newcomers Caitlin McLean and Dr Annie Jandhu make their presence felt in Shieldinch, in very different ways, and Kelly-Marie receives surprising news from DI Donald.
