Two residents prepare to tie the knot - but with secrets rife, will all go to plan? One resident finds themselves in an impossible situation, but what will they decide to do?

Carmel jokingly brands Shabnam and Kush blasé as they return from the Registry Office –they’re both adamant that later is the main event. Carmel remarks on Stacey not being present; Shabnam plays it down. Martin tells a grumpy Stacey that she needs to leave bed for Shabnam and Kush’s wedding; they’ll never forgive them otherwise. Carmel arrives with headache pills and reminds Stacey that Shabnam and Kush both need her. Back at the Masood’s, Shabnam fills Kush in – Stacey’s baby isn’t Martin’s and Martin doesn’t know it. Cogs whir when Shabnam states that it was from a one night stand before Martin and Stacey got together – he questions for details but Shabnam claims that Stacey was being cagey.

Kush desperately tries to assure Shabnam that they don’t need to persuade Stacey to tell Martin just yet. As Fatima arrives to help set up, Kush heads off with purpose. Kush arrives at Stacey’s and demands to know if what Shabnam’s told him is true. Stacey claims that the baby isn’t Kush’s – it was the result of a one night stand, but Kush is disbelieving. Stacey’s face gives the game away; the baby’s his. Kush is in disbelief that Stacey’s planning to continue the lie. Kush riles as Stacey tells Kush to pretend as if he never found out and to not let himself get attached. Stacey reminds Kush that if they come clean, it’ll destroy both Martin and Shabnam. As Stacey heads back to hers, Shabnam admits to Stacey that she’s told Kush about Stacey’s baby not being Martin’s. Fiona Payne arrives at the Masood’s - Tamwar assures her that Shabnam will be around soon. When Tamwar’s family dress Nancy in a sari, she privately admits to Tamwar that she feels there’s a whole side of him that she doesn’t know. Tamwar warmly tells her that she can ask him anything. Shabnam and Kush arrive – Shabnam’s eager to speak to Fiona. Fiona informs the pair that a date has been set for the hearing at the family court, regarding Jade. Shabnam can barely contain her excitement – Kush is less forthcoming. Masood arrives home with a surprise; Kamil.

Kush takes Carmel outside, claiming he needs a breather. Kush struggles as Carmel tells him how she thinks he’ll be a brilliant dad one day – it’s too much for him when Stacey passes. In Stacey’s flat, Kush struggles to accept that Stacey wants him to walk away – he firmly states that he’s going to tell Shabnam the truth. Stacey begs Kush to keep the secret. The atmosphere in the Masood’s is wonderful as the wedding guests arrive. Masood admits to Carmel that the reason Zainab isn’t present is because she took it badly that he wanted to bring Kamil home for the wedding. Stacey nervously watches on as Kush rushes over to the Masood’s and asks to speak to Shabnam.

Kush tells Shabnam that he’s been speaking to Stacey about Martin not being the baby’s dad – he’s halted when Shabnam jumps in and assumes he’s worried about not being Jade’s real dad. When Shabnam emotionally tells Kush that she felt a phantom kick from Zaair today, Kush is unable to spill the truth. As Kush takes Shabnam’s hand, the Imam enters and asks the pair of they’re ready. The Imam conducts Shabnam and Kush’s ceremony and announces the pair husband and wife in the eyes of Allah. As Shabnam and Kush head off for their honeymoon, Stacey tells Kush that he’s done the right thing by keeping quiet. Shabnam and Kush leave in a taxi as Stacey looks on, fraught from the weight of her huge secret...

Kim assures Donna that she’s happy without Vincent, but later, she leaves Shabnam and Kush’s wedding in tears. Denise assures her that she’ll find someone who’s right for her and reminds Kim that in the mean-time, she’s here for her.
