Ban on Bass fishery - have reacted angrily to an European Union proposed ban on bass fishing for 6 months from January 2016.聽 The European Commission says it's necessary to protect deteriorating fish stocks but聽the fishermen argue that those who fish聽with Rod-and-Line it's more sustainable and they聽shouldn't聽be penalised along with the trawler fishermen.

But with some people questioning why they don't just leave them be, we hear from the farmers why they need to continue the tradition to preserve this historic breed for the future.
