Research published a few days ago claims that some of the biggest urban areas in Wales could be under water within a hundred years because of rising sea levels.聽 Large parts of Newport, Barry, Llanelli and Neath could eventually be wiped out - not to mention a huge chunk of Cardiff.

Unduly alarmist for some critics, but it certainly brings very close to home this week鈥檚 major climate change gathering of the world鈥檚 governments in Paris.

2015 is set to be the warmest year on record, according to the World Meteorological Organisation - on average, we're about 1 degree C warmer than before the Industrial Revolution.聽 And an overwhelming majority of the world鈥檚 scientists it鈥檚 because of human activity.

What can we realistically expect from these high-level negotiations?聽 To what extent are our attitudes to climate change coloured by religious beliefs - or lack of them?聽 And what should we be doing both to be true to any faith we have - and literally to keep the waters at bay?

Roy Jenkins discusses these and other issues arising from climate change with a panel of guests including Dr John Weaver, Chair of the educational charity The John Ray Initiative; Shehroze Khan, campaign manager of Muslim Action for Development and Environment (MADE); environmental psychologist Professor Lorraine Whitmarsh of Cardiff University; and journalist and climate change campaigner Mark Dowd.
