Sleeping with Max Richter

Max Richter is a German-born British composer who works in a field that could be loosely called Contemporary Classical.

Richter graduated in composition from the Royal Academy of Music and also studied under Luciano Berio in Italy.

He has written for stage, opera, ballet and screen as well as recording seven solo albums.

His latest album Sleep came out in September and is descirbed as an eight-hour long cradle song.
