Reports and results from around the country in the SPFL. And in the first Premiership card of 2016, there are a number of traditional New Year derbies. In Glasgow, Partick Thistle make the short journey across the city to play Celtic. In the City of Discovery, Dundee Utd make the shortest journey in British league football to play local rivals Dundee. And in the Highlands, Inverness host Ross County. Elsewhere, Kilmarnock and Hearts lock horns at Rugby Park. In the Championship, Morton and St Mirren contest the Renfrewshire derby. There's also preview of Sunday's match between St Johnstone and Aberdeen.
