On Wednesday 27th January, people all around Wales will be commemorating the greatest atrocity of World War Two, maybe of history.聽

The focus of this year鈥檚 Holocaust Memorial Day聽 is wider than previous years.聽聽 Under the slogan Don鈥檛 Stand By, it embraces all people suffering because they鈥檙e part of a minority.聽

On All Things Considered Roy Jenkins asks聽 what we can be expected to do in a world where terrible deeds make headlines every week?聽 And what in particular for people聽 being persecuted for their race or culture or religion?

Roy鈥檚 guests include Olivia Marks-Woldman, Chief Executive of Holocaust Memorial Day;聽 His Grace Bishop Angaelos ,General Bishop of the Coptic Orthodox Church in the United Kingdom; Nick Page of the Christian charity Open Doors; and Abdul-Azim Ahmed, assistant secretary general of the Muslim Council of Wales.
