More about the programme:

Love is in the air on this week鈥檚 All Things Considered.

It鈥檚 St Valentine鈥檚 Day and it鈥檚 hard to ignore it. For weeks now, cheesey cards, heart shaped balloons, and overpriced flowers have crowded the aisles of many a supermarket. For some it鈥檚 a day of romance and indulgence others perhaps would rather let it pass them by.

Here in Wales it can feel as if we get a double dose of romance, with St Valentine鈥檚 Day swiftly following celebrations of the Welsh saint of love: Santes Dwynwyn.

In today鈥檚 programme Mary Stallard and guests are discussing what it means to love and to be loved? What happens when it鈥檚 missing from human lives?聽 And to what extent does having a Christian faith affect how love is understood?
