Power Family
In 2014, single mum Liz believed Australia could offer her family financial security, even though it would mean leaving a daughter behind. Did they make the move?
An updated look at families previously featured on Wanted Down Under.
Single mum Liz Power has an incredibly close bond with her three children, but in 2014 was fed up struggling to make ends meet in the UK. She believed Australia could offer her family a brighter future, but moving would mean splitting her close-knit family up for good, as eldest daughter Alice wanted to stay in the UK.
A trial week in Melbourne showed Liz, and Alice's siblings Jack and Mo, just how Australia could benefit the family, but then left them facing a heart-breaking decision. So twelve months after we last saw them, have the Powers made the move to the other side of the world?
