Since the revisited filming Kevin was offered a part time role after his contract ended. However this was was not suitable as Elisabeth was still unemployed. Fortunately Kevin applied for another job and has since started a permanent full-time position with a national pharmacy service provider in the city.

Elisabeth was offered a six month contract in a rural town five hours drive away, this has meant living away from Kevin and the children for long periods of time and Kevin caring for the children on his own, whilst working full time too!

Elisabeth completed her supervised practice at the end of January and will be returning to the family home with full midwifery registration, enabling her to apply for a much wider spectrum of job opportunities closer to home.

Aiden has commenced an Autism Intervention Programme in a specialised school which he attends a few days a week, whilst still attending his regular school. Aiden's health remains stable for the time being.

Isabelle is loving school and is a very keen singer and adjusting to her new surroundings. Harrison has since started high school and has made many new friends and sees Australia as his home.

It has been a tough time over the past year, but they remain just as determined to live their dream down under. Elisabeth and Kevin know there are still challenges ahead, but continue to thrive for the best possible life for their children.
