Len Goodman takes comedian Jasper Carrott to south Wales and Barry Island to relive his childhood holiday of 1958.

Len picks Jasper up in a beautiful 1950s bus and they head off to their destination whilst Jasper paints the picture of his childhood. His old holiday YMCA accommodation might have been bulldozed to the ground, but that doesn't stop Len from pulling out all the stops as he lines up a special guest for Jasper to meet for a good old chin wag.

After that they head over to the local snooker hall, where Jaspers talks about the early American influences on his career. Having worked up an appetite, the nostalgia goes up a notch as they put together the very meal that Jasper would have enjoyed back in the fifties - steak pie followed by syrup pudding! It's over lunch that Jasper chats about one of his first big breaks and that famous appearance on Top of the Pops.

It's off to Barry Island Pleasure Park for these two next for a bump-a-round on the dodgems. The rain fails to dampen their spirits, and Jasper is elated when he wins a toothbrush on hook a duck - just like he did in '58!

Along the way we find out how one of Britain's best-loved comedians came to be, from working the circuit in the early days to becoming a TV star and making his comeback tour. We also delve into what made this holiday special for a young Jasper Carrott.
