Uncovering the human cost of the changes to Wales's benefits system. This final episode explores how some of Bridgend's most vulnerable people are struggling to access support.
In this final episode, some of the most vulnerable people in Bridgend are struggling to access support and cope with the changes to the benefits system. Seventeen-year-old Tiffany Davies received disability benefits as a child, but upon turning 16, they ceased. Changes to the system have meant that she now has to apply for one of the new benefits, and she discovers how - despite her disabilities - it's all too easy to slip through the safety net. Jobseeker Michael Ryan has been unemployed for four years and has become so stressed by the demands of the job centre that he decides to give up on the benefits system altogether.
