In today's journey through time, Len Goodman takes broadcaster Jennie Bond on a stroll down memory lane to her favourite childhood holiday destination, Pendoggett in Cornwall. The year was 1966.

Len picks Jennie up in a beautiful Humber saloon, almost identical to the one her family had back then. And, just like the original, it breaks down before they have even started their holiday! But it doesn't dampen their enthusiasm and they hitch a ride into North Cornwall.

The day starts with Len and Jennie heading back to the quaint hotel she stayed in during England's World Cup winning year of 1966. But it's not long before we see them having a go at one of the region's most popular activities, surfing. However, rather than tackle the choppy water they stick to the sandy shore and throw some shapes that any ballroom dancer would be proud of!

Having worked up an appetite at the beach, they sit down to enjoy the very meal that Jennie and her family had at the time, potted shrimp followed by steak and chips. Jennie shows Len her childhood diary, proof that she was always destined to become one of the UK's most-loved journalists.

They then head back to the coast where we discover Jennie's love for seafood, but who will win in the crab dressing competition? Out at sea, we find out how she broke into journalism over a spot of lobster potting. Along the way, she explains how she became Royal Correspondent, covering some of the monarchy's most turbulent times. We also delve into what made this holiday so memorable for a young Jennie Bond.
