Armagh, apples, and acres of orchards... it can only be The Apple Blossom Fair. Over three days this weekend, visitors can sample the apple produce, to the backdrop of spectacular pink and white blossoms.

This Bank Holiday Monday, things are heating up as a fully restored Steam Train makes it way through County Down. Downpatrick and County Down Railway take great pride in their service between Downpatrick and Inch Abbey, which sees hundreds of people climb aboard.

Up by the River Bann at Coleraine, volunteers from the NI Community Rescue Service fill the gap between the work of Mountain Rescue and Coastguard, for situations ranging from missing persons to people trapped in cars. One local man has been involved from day one, and knows the river and his way round the rescue boat very well.

Just after mid-night tonight/tomorrow morning - this year鈥檚 dawn Chorus will air from Tollymore Forest Park and National Outdoor Centre in County Down. Dr Kendrew Colhoun, Senior Conservation Scientist is our expert - and he鈥檚 looking forward to the marathon bird listening event, which is only a hop, skip and a jump from his front door.

Finally this week, we have a brilliant story about the O鈥機ahan Clan, who during the 16th century controlled most of what is now County Derry. Now in 2016, they have decided to get the whole clan together, and our reporter, Helen Mark went along to hear how plans are coming along.
