Queen鈥檚 90th Birthday 鈥� The Servant Queen and the King she serves.
Pam Rhodes is at Westminster Abbey to find out about the Queen鈥檚 commitment to not only serve the country, but in serving God.

She meets Mark Greene, the author of recently published book, 鈥楾he Servant Queen鈥� which looks back over the Queen鈥檚 life as a dedicated Christian with a foreword from The Queen herself. 听The Clerk of the Closet, Bishop James Newcome, offers insight into the ways Her Majesty鈥檚 faith is woven into her everyday life and role as monarch.

The book is the work of three charities The Bible Society, Hope and The London Institute For Contemporary Christianity.听 The book costs 拢1 and is available from:

Queen鈥檚 90th Birthday; Royal Maundy Ceremony

Pam Rhodes meets a recipient of this year鈥檚 Royal Maundy Money, 90-year-old Ken Jolly from Sunderland. Ken was chosen for the honour in recognition of his long-service as an organist at St Gabriel鈥檚 Church for over 50 years. Pam goes to see Ken playing some music. His congregation gather to watch back the moment he met the Queen and celebrate the occasion.听

Launch of the Christmas card competition 2016

Pam Rhodes meets Sharon Little to look at historical Christmas cards.

Pam gives details of a new competition launching on Songs of Praise 鈥� to design a Christmas card in aid of 麻豆官网首页入口 Children in Need.
