Martin Roberts meets a couple who buy a former millworkers' cottage in Derbyshire as their first home together, Lucy Alexander meets a father-and-daughter team of seasoned developers buying a house in Kent, and Dion Dublin talks to a man who, along with two friends, has clubbed together to buy an investment property in Lowestoft in Suffolk. All three houses were sold at auction and all need major work to bring them up to scratch.
