4 Good reasons to fish in the River Mourne
Duration: 01:11
Rathlin Lighthouse
We start this week at one of Northern Ireland most unique tourist destination. The Rathlin WestLight Seabird Centre is a spectacular feat of engineering that clings to the cliff face, with the red lantern at its foot. RSPB Warden Liam McFaul gave Anne Marie the grand tour.
Tobermore Memorial
Tobermore, near Magherafelt in Co Londonderry is a place that despite having a big numbers enlist in the First and Second WW's, never had a permanent war memorial. There was a roll of honour in 1916 that recorded the 121 names (a third of the village) that went to war, but nothing since. Until now.
Bannside Books
Bannside Library in Belfast holds over 60,000 publications, many which go back to the 17th and 18th century. One woman knows them all fairly well - Sharon Huddleston - because they were her Dads - Lord Bannside, Former First Minister, Rev Ian Paisley.
Sion Mills
Sion Mills, a picturesque village on the River Mourne in Tyrone - and a very good place for fishing. Something the Winters brothers have been doing since they were boys growing up there. Barney Winters took Conor McKay to his favourite spot – a river he thinks is the best in the country.
