More about the programme

Radio Wales鈥 news and current affairs programme听returns with calls for the Welsh Government to explore听banning the sale of high-caffeine energy drinks to children.

Labour AM Jenny Rathbone wants ministers to investigate if听Wales could follow the example of Latvia and Lithuania and ban the sale of energy drinks to under 18s by using its powers to legislate on child protection.

But the British Soft Drinks Association is opposed to any such move, arguing that a 鈥渄raconian ban鈥 is not justified by the evidence and would remove consumer and parental choice.

Presented by Nelli Bird.
