More about the programme:
Before the referendum, all the Anglican bishops in Wales declared themselves for Remain. Like leaders of other denominations, they are now urging prayer for ‘reconciliation among the divided factions in nations, communities and families.
The Archbishops of Canterbury and York have spoken of the need to be ‘hospitable and compassionate builders of bridges and not barriers’. But how, when many in the pews are jubilant, while others are desolate?
Joining Roy Jenkins to discuss these issues are:
Dr Dan Boucher, who lives in Swansea and who has worked for Christian organisations at the National Assembly and at Westminster, and has stood as a Welsh Conservative candidate at European and Assembly elections.
The Rev Geoff Waggett parish priest at Christchurch, Ebbw Vale.
Canon Dr Sarah Rowland-Jones, now vicar of St John’s in the centre of Cardiff, and a former British diplomat.
And we are joined from an Edinburgh studio by the convenor of the Church of Scotland’s Church and Society Council, the Rev Dr Richard Frazer.
