Dianne Oxberry talks to the over-65s, who voted heavily in favour of leaving the EU. Peter Marshall examines what Brexit means for business. And what next for the region's MEPs?
The age group who were most in favour of Brexit were the over-65s - people who could remember a time when we weren't in the EU. Dianne Oxberry talks to the north west's silver voters and asks them what prompted them to vote leave, and if they're still happy with that decision - even if some of the younger generation feel let down by them. How will the north west's key industries cope with impending withdrawal from the EU. Peter Marshall examines what Brexit means for business. Will it bring more opportunities, jobs and trade? Or will it be harder to manufacture products and to make a profit? And, what happens now to our north west MEPs? They were voted into a European Parliament which the general public has just voted them out of. Jacey Normand reflects on what they've done for the region so far and asks what they'll do next.
